Ramadan: Mrs Rashida Bello Appeals to Muslims
As Muslims begin this year’s holy month of Ramadan the wife of the executive governor of Kogi state, Mrs Rashida Bello has called on faithfuls to use the holy month to pray for kogi state and Nigeria. Mrs Rashida Bello made the call to Muslim faithfuls in a Ramadan message signed by her senior special assistant on media, Mrs Olamide Adesoro. She identified good intention, prayers and pursuit of good deeds as conditions for reaping spiritual and physical benefits of Ramadan In the statement she urged all Muslims to dutifully participate and observe the Ramadan fast as it is one of the pillars of Islam. Mrs Rashida Bello enjoined the Islamic clerics and scholars to educate Muslims on the true teachings of Islam.
